Soccer Game Preview: Northwest Guilford vs. Myers Park + Official Tickets

The Northwest Guilford Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Myers Park Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Northwest Guilford comes in on four and Myers Park on eight.

Northwest Guilford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Pinecrest. Considering Northwest Guilford have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Pinecrest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eric Anthony, Sebastain Celis, and Matthew Holcomb.

Meanwhile, Myers Park faced South Mecklenburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Monday. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Sabres 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Myers Park were the better team in the second half.

Myers Park's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Northwest Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 16-6-2.
