The Wetumpka Indians will take on the Holtville Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wetumpka will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Wetumpka got the win against Percy Julian by a conclusive 20-2. Considering the Indians have won 21 games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sophie Arant was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.
In other batting news, Wetumpka let Autymn Hollon and Lily Davenport run wild. Hollon went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Davenport went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI Davenport has posted since back in February. Ava Farmer was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Wetumpka kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.
Holtville not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th. They blew past Marbury 8-1. Holtville hasn't had any issues with Marbury recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Brooke Findley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bailea Boone was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-5. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Goff, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Wetumpka's victory was their 34th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 33-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Holtville, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9-1.
Monday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wetumpka has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .511. However, it's not like Holtville struggles in that department as they've averaged .458. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wetumpka took their win against Holtville in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 14-4 score. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
