Softball Recap: Copper Canyon Takes a Loss

Copper Canyon lost against La Joya Community on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aztecs lost 18-1 to the Fighting Lobos. The Aztecs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Copper Canyon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Goldie Chambers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Copper Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for La Joya Community, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copper Canyon will square off against Glendale at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Joya Community, they will challenge Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
