Volleyball Recap: Tennyson Comes Up Short

Tennyson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mt. Eden Monarchs.

Tennyson took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-21.

Tennyson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mt. Eden, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tennyson will face off against rival San Lorenzo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mt. Eden is set to challenge their familiar foe Hayward at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
