Girls Preparatory School extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Cat Nygaard. The Bruisers put the hurt on the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday with plenty of help from Nygaard, who had 26 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

One reason for the win was Girls Preparatory School's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.

Girls Preparatory School's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, with the loss, they broke their nine-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-8.

Girls Preparatory School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Webb on the 25th.
