Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Provine). They put the hurt on the Lanier Bulldogs with a sharp 15-5 win on Tuesday. The Rams have beaten the Bulldogs the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Provine's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Lanier, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Provine will square off against Forest Hill at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Lanier, they will take on Murrah at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.71 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
