            Baseball Recap: Desert Scorpions vs. Bishop Union Broncos        
        
		
        
        
            Desert was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Bishop Union Broncos, falling  10-3. The Scorpions were not able to make up for their  loss to the Broncos from their previous meeting  back in May of 2024.
 Desert saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Alex Mendoza, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Desert now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Bishop Union, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert will  challenge  rival Mammoth  at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bishop Union is set to  face off against  their familiar foe California City  at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
