Soccer Recap: Red Springs Takes a Loss

Red Springs's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Whiteville Wolfpack by a score of 2-1. Red Springs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Whiteville earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Red Springs' goal came courtesy of Marco Tellez, who's now up to ten this season.

Red Springs' loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Whiteville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11-2.

Looking ahead, Red Springs will look to defend their home pitch on the 4th against Bunn at 7:00 p.m. Whiteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
