Clearfield entered their tilt with Woods Cross on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Woods Cross Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 40-23. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Clearfield can attribute much of their success to Xiyah Yarbrough, who posted ten points in addition to five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Wyaskett, who put up seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Clearfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive contests.

Clearfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Woods Cross, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Clearfield has already played their next game, a 56-32 victory against Roy on the 10th. As for Woods Cross, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-44 defeat against Viewmont on the 10th.
