Volleyball Recap: Princeton's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Princeton entered their tilt with Ripley on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Vikings back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Princeton never let Ripley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 29-27.

Princeton's win bumped their record up to 11-9-2. As for Ripley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Princeton will head out on the road to take on James Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ripley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Greenbrier East on the 23rd.
