Volleyball Recap: Carson Starts Season with Victory Against Hickory Ridge

Carson had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls. Surprisingly, this marked the Cougars' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Carson was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-19.

Hickory Ridge dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Carson will challenge Central Davidson at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hickory Ridge, they will face off against Concord at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
