Basketball Recap: First Christian Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

If Bell wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played First Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Reagan Davis. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Lions made off with a 43-42 victory over the Bulldogs with plenty of help from Davis, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of First Christian's points.

The win made it two in a row for First Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-1. As for Bell, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

First Christian and IMG Academy Blue will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bell will take on Trenton in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.29 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
