Softball Game Preview: Davis Sr. Blue Devils vs. Granite Bay Grizzlies

The Davis Sr. Blue Devils will challenge the Granite Bay Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Davis Sr. has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Things were looking good for Davis Sr. after they put the first runs on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Folsom by a score of 5-4. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lily Lingbloom was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Isabella Trask also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Granite Bay suffered their closest defeat since February 27th on Wednesday. They fell just short of Oak Ridge by a score of 3-1.

Davis Sr.'s loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Granite Bay, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
