Basketball Recap: De La Salle Wins Going Away Against Livingston Collegiate Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Metairie Park Country Day, De La Salle was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves with a sharp 64-39 win. Given the Cavalier's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Wolves are ranked 339th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

De La Salle's victory bumped their record up to 21-12. As for Livingston Collegiate Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 16 of their last 18 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

Coming up, De La Salle will venture away from home to challenge Edna Karr at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Livingston Collegiate Academy has already played their next contest (against South Plaquemines), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
