Baseball Recap: Grant County Braves vs. Villa Madonna Vikings
Grant County lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Villa Madonna, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. Grant County blew past Villa Madonna 11-0 on Thursday. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.
Luke Williams and Seth Tucker made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Williams tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Tucker pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Williams scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Tucker went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
