Teague triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Jehmel Rice

Recap: Teague Lions vs. Elkhart Elks
The Teague Lions came into Tuesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Elkhart 66-42. The victory was just what Teague needed coming off of a 95-42 defeat in their prior game.
Jehmel Rice continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Brayden Leija, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Teague's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Elkhart, they dropped their record down to 10-22 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Teague will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Teague focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Tuesday. As for Elkhart, they will head out on the road to square off against Buffalo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
