Baseball Recap: Stroudsburg Gets the Win

Stroudsburg won the last time they faced Pleasant Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mountaineers came out on top against the Bears by a score of 9-5. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Damian Budhai spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ryan Pacitti and Alex Pacitti did most of the damage at the plate: Ryan scored three runs while going 2-for-3, while Alex went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Alex has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Luke Powanda, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
