It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Andrews had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Riverside Rangers 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Kylie Gentile spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Lauren Cordova was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Georgia Lambert, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Andrews' victory bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-14.

As of now, neither Andrews nor the Rangers have any future games scheduled.
