Baseball Recap: Colonial Beach Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Colonial Beach fell victim to The Carmel School and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Colonial Beach and nudges their season record down to 2-5. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 9-4 Lancaster (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 84.6% over those games). As for The Carmel School, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colonial Beach will host Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Drifters' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for The Carmel School, they will welcome Life Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
