Baseball Recap: Patterson Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Martinville last Monday, Patterson came back down to earth. The Patterson Lumberjacks came up short against the Morgan City Tigers on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lumberjacks of the 15-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Patterson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. Morgan City moved to 4-17 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Patterson is taking a road trip to square off against Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morgan City, they will be playing at home against Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
