Recap: Lake George Lakers vs. Argyle Scots
The Lake George Lakers had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Argyle by a score of 36-33. Lake George lost against Argyle in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 45-33 score last time.
Lake George's lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Morgan Stanco, who scored 3 points along with 9 rebounds. Chloe Popa was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds.
Lake George's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Argyle, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Lake George will head out on the road to face off against Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Argyle, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bolton Central at 6:00 p.m.
