Basketball Game Preview: St. Timothy's vs. McDonogh Eagles

St. Timothy just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the McDonogh Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Timothy's last matchup with Pallotti could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. St. Timothy's lost 66-41 to Pallotti.

St. Timothy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Dream Clark, who posted 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Kada Koger, who scored four points in addition to six boards and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Robinson, who had six points.

Meanwhile, McDonogh came up short against St. Mary's on Wednesday and fell 42-31.

McDonogh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Timothy's, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

St. Timothy's beat McDonogh 40-33 in their previous meeting back in February. Does St. Timothy's have another victory up their sleeve, or will McDonogh turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
