Baseball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Sheldon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the El Dorado Cougars.

Sheldon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Lirio, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Lirio is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for El Dorado, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Sheldon will challenge Oakmont at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for El Dorado, they will be playing at home against Calaveras at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
