Softball Recap: Mission College Prep Triumphs

While Mission College Prep's win against Nipomo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mission College Prep Royals narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Nipomo Titans 7-5. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Malia Okimoto, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Scarlett Ferrari was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Mission College Prep's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Nipomo, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
