Volleyball Recap: Druid Hills Starts Season with Victory Against Wesleyan

Druid Hills gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wesleyan Wolves by a score of 2-0. The Red Devils were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wolves, so the Red Devils were just returning the favor.

While Druid Hills won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21.

Coincidentally, Druid Hills and Wesleyan will both be playing Riverwood the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
