            Basketball Recap: Jackson Vikings vs. Lansing Catholic Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Jackson, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Saturday. They managed  a  56-50 victory over the Lansing Catholic Cougars  on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jackson to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Tre' Pierce, who  posted 16  points. Those 16 points gave  Pierce a new career-high.  Berkley Drummond was another key player,  putting up 12  points.
 Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Seth Hahnenberg, who  went 10 of 17 on his way to 22 points and seven  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lucas Payne, who  put up 13  points.
Jackson now  has a winning record of 2-1.
 Jackson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  63-51  loss against Michigan Center on the 7th. As for Lansing Catholic, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  61-50  defeat against Sexton on the 6th.
