Soccer Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Rome Wolves. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Heritage's goal came courtesy of Zoie St.John, who's now up to nine this season.

Heritage now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rome, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Heritage will take on Cartersville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rome, they will challenge Carrollton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rome is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
