The Providence Cristo Rey Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Christel House on the road and fell 74-30. While losing is never fun, Providence Cristo Rey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 449th, while Christel House is ranked 101st).

Christel House got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaden Davis out in front who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The contest was Davis' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lamar Jones, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 21 rebounds.

Providence Cristo Rey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Christel House, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Providence Cristo Rey will be home for the holidays to greet Victory College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Victory College Prep is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Christel House, they will head out on the road to face off against Indianapolis Metropolitan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
