Soccer Recap: Pender Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pender lost against Midway back in October of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. Pender have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Adam Arreola, which was the first he's scored this season.

Pender's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Midway, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Midway didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Harnett Central on the 21st. Hopefully Pender paid attention to the Raiders' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
