Baseball Recap: Howell Comes Up Short

Howell was the 3-1 winner over Liberty when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday.

Howell's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Liberty, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Howell will face off against Marquette at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will challenge Fort Zumwalt North at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
