Basketball Recap: Panther Creek Takes a Loss

Panther Creek suffered their biggest loss since November 26, 2024 on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Jonesboro Cardinals and fell 79-49. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Catamounts' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

This is the second loss in a row for Panther Creek and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Jonesboro, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Panther Creek and Jonesboro will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Catamounts are set to challenge their familiar foe Green Level at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jonesboro will face off against rival Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
