Softball Recap: Saratoga Central Catholic Saints vs. Stillwater Warriors
Saratoga Central Catholic took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Stillwater, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Saints skirted past the Warriors 12-11. 12 seems to be a good number for the Saints as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Grace Schaefer was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off only one hit. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one triple.
