Basketball Recap: Camden-Frontier Comes Up Short

Camden-Frontier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 48-30 to the Jackson Christian Royals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-24 back in January.

Rennie Huff continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jackson Christian, almost dropping a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Huff's big performance that evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Ella Boll was another key player, putting up six points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

Camden-Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Jackson Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Camden-Frontier has already played their next game, a 47-34 win against Tekonsha on the 27th. As for Jackson Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 40-28 defeat against Napoleon on the 27th.
