Basketball Recap: Bishop Loughlin Comes Up Short

Bishop Loughlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 73-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Francis Prep Terriers. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Terriers are ranked fifth).

Bishop Loughlin's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for St. Francis Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Bishop Loughlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Francis Prep, they will be playing at home against Christ the King at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
