It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pass Christian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Poplarville Hornets 3-2. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Pass Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Poplarville, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9.

Pass Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Newton County on the 13th. Poplarville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
