Football Recap: San Joaquin Memorial Finds Home Field Redemption Against Christian Brothers

There's no place like home for San Joaquin Memorial, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past the Christian Brothers Falcons 27-25. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons on Friday, too.

Colton Johnson threw for 98 yards on only nine passes. Brennan Richardson was his top target, picking up 74 receiving yards. On the ground, Syriss Fuller rushed for 85 yards on only six carries.

The win got San Joaquin Memorial back to even at 1-1. As for Christian Brothers, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Joaquin Memorial will square off against Castaic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Brothers, they will challenge Nevada Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
