Volleyball Game Preview: Point Loma Pointers vs. Christian Patriots

The Point Loma Pointers will face off against the Christian Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Point Loma: they have been struggling with nine straight losses at home, while Christian has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Point Loma lost 3-0 to Crawford on Tuesday.

While Point Loma ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Christian got the win against Hoover on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Christian was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-19.

Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Point Loma, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-24.
