Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sylmar). They were the clear victors by a 20-3 margin over the Canoga Park Hunters on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Analee Morales was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Morales was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Sylmar got a massive performance out of Maya Salceda, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those four RBI gave Salceda a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Viviana Cervacio, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
