Soccer Recap: Taylorsville Takes a Loss

Taylorsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillcrest Huskies. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Taylorsville couldn't quite close it out.

Taylorsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hillcrest, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taylorsville will head out to face off against Cyprus at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillcrest, they will square off against West Jordan at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest will be up against West Jordan's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
