Softball Recap: Laurel Hill Comes Up Short

Laurel Hill and Paxton squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Laurel Hill had to settle for second. They lost 16-1 to the Bobcats. The Hoboes' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Laurel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Paxton, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

Laurel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paxton, they will square off against Northview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chiefs' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Bobcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
