Basketball Recap: Ogilvie Takes a Loss

Ogilvie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 68-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-30 back in December of 2024.

Ogilvie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-19.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ogilvie Lions face off against the PACT Charter Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, they will challenge Proctor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hinckley-Finlayson is facing Proctor at the right time seeing as Proctor is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
