Basketball Recap: Flat Rock Drops Season-High Score on Ida

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Flat Rock). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Ida Bluestreaks 83-46. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th in Michigan, while the Bluestreaks are ranked 466th in Michigan), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Flat Rock is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. Ida has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Flat Rock will take on Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Huron's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Ida does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
