Newell-Fonda was the 3-2 winner over Alta-Aurelia when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Newell-Fonda's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Alta-Aurelia, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Newell-Fonda wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Southeast Valley on the 4th. As for Alta-Aurelia, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Sioux Central on the 4th.
