Basketball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

Phoenix lost against Skaneateles back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Firebirds lost 75-50 to the Lakers. Firebirds fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Lakers since Tuesday.

Phoenix's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Skaneateles, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Phoenix and Syracuse Academy of Science will compete for holiday cheer at 2:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Skaneateles, they have already played their next matchup, a 65-45 loss against Westhill on the 12th.
