Basketball Game Preview: Tikigaq Harpooners vs. Kenai Central Kardinals

After both having extra time off, the Tikigaq Harpooners and the Kenai Central Kardinals will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Tikigaq will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Tikigaq's tournament run continued when they took on North Pole last Saturday. Tikigaq had to suffer through a 74-24 loss at the hands of North Pole.

Meanwhile, Kenai Central earned a 51-44 win over Seward last Saturday.

Tikigaq's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kenai Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Tikigaq came up short against Kenai Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 73-67. Can Tikigaq avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
