Volleyball Game Preview: Center Cougars vs. Lincoln Fighting Zebras

The Center Cougars will face off against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Center turned things around against Marysville on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Indians 3-2.

Center wouldn't go down easily and took Marysville into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 24-26, 16-25, 15-13.

Lincoln not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 22, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Oakmont with a sharp 3-0 win.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Center, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
