Basketball Recap: Mill Valley Has No Trouble Against Olathe South

Mill Valley won the last time they faced Olathe South and things went their way on Friday too. The Mill Valley Jaguars enjoyed a cozy 78-62 victory over the Olathe South Falcons.

Mill Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Olathe South, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mill Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Piper at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Piper's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Olathe South, they will head out to face off against Shawnee Mission East on Tuesday.
