McKendall Boyer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Morgan narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Philo 10-8.
Like Meadowbrook, Morgan also got a great game from a two-way player: Myka Augenstein. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Augenstein was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Morgan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Meadowbrook has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Morgan, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Meadowbrook's sizable advantage in that area, the Raiders will need to find a way to close that gap.
Meadowbrook got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Morgan by a conclusive 7-1 score. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
