It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Forney had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Rowlett Eagles 8-0. The result was nothing new for Forney, who have now won 14 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Rowlett with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kalani Brundage (4), Madalynn Putnam (2), Evelyn Rico, and Addison E. Smith.

Forney pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Rowlett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Forney will take on Harker Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harker Heights will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Forney surely won't give up without a fight. Rowlett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
