Mulberry won the last time they faced Haines City and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers blew past the Hornets 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Mulberry not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Haines City between 18 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-21.

Mateus Cusmanich paced Mulberry's offense, picking up 17 kills. Cusmanich got some help from Jayden Williams and his 35 assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Mulberry's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Haines City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
